Established in 1992 by the esteemed social reformer Dr  Bindeshwar Pathak, founder of the Sulabh Sanitation Movement and recipient of the Stockholm Water Prize and Padma Vibhushan, the Sulabh International Museum of Toilets offers a unique glimpse into the history of sanitation.

Our commitment at Sulabh International, extending through the Museum of Toilets, Sulabh Livelihood Program, and Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) program, embodies the spirit of SDG 6.4. We are dedicated to improving sanitation and water management, while simultaneously empowering communities through livelihood opportunities and breaking the silence around menstrual health.

These integrated efforts aim not only to enhance water efficiency and address water scarcity but also to promote sustainable sanitation, economic empowerment, and gender equality, propelling us towards a healthier, more sustainable, and inclusive future for all.

The museum remains closed on National Holidays.
